Listening, responding, nourishing, nurturing…

An interest in the connection between our physical, mental, emotional and spiritual states, as well as a love of receiving holistic massage myself, drew me to the Massage Training Institute (MTI) and to qualify with an MTI Diploma in Holistic Massage, and Anatomy, Physiology & Pathology. This unlocked a fascination in the power of holistic healing and I’ve continued my learning and development, with additional accredited qualifications in Indian Head Massage, Reiki Seichem Mastership, Lomi Lomi, and Hot & Cold Stones Massage modalities.

I’m an absolute advocate for holistic methodologies, that use an intuitive approach so avoid massage routines and the standard ‘set pieces’ so often found in other massage training.

I combine my private therapy practice with my other professional career working in the charitable sector; both sectors bringing me into contact with exceptional and inspirational people, and both concerned with health and well-being.

Outside my holistic practice I find joy in playing the piano (a rather rusty grade 8), teaching myself the cello, and feeding my love of opera, 1980s, and world music. And I try to practice what I preach, setting time aside to receive holistic therapies myself, connecting with and listening to nature, and walking with my energetic cocker spaniel.
