Listening, responding, nourishing, nurturing…

My interest in the connection between our physical, emotional and spiritual states, as well as a love of receiving holistic massage myself, drew me to the Massage Training Institute (MTI) and to qualify with an MTI Professional Diploma Level 4 in Holistic Massage, and Anatomy, Physiology & Pathology.

This unlocked a fascination in the power of holistic healing, so I’ve continued my learning with additional accredited qualifications in Indian Head Massage, Reiki Seichem Mastership, Lomi Lomi, and Hot & Cold Stones Massage modalities.

I’m an absolute advocate for holistic methodologies. As they use an intuitive approach they avoid massage routines and the standard ‘set pieces’ so often found in other massage training. I think you can really tell the difference!

I combine my holistic therapy practice with my other professional life working in the charitable sector; both sectors bringing me into contact with exceptional and inspirational people, and both concerned with health and well-being.

Outside my holistic practice I find joy in playing the piano (a rather rusty grade 8), teaching myself the cello, and feeding my love of opera, 1980s, and world music. And I try to practice what I preach, setting time aside to receive holistic therapies myself, and connecting with and listening to nature.

I’m trained, qualified, accredited and registered with the gold standards of the Massage Training Institute (MTI) www.massagetraining.co.uk at Bristol College of Massage and Bodywork. Registered and accredited with the Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC) www.cnhc.org.uk, so you can be confident I have been properly and comprehensively trained, fully qualified and insured. I’m also registered with the Reiki and Seichem Association www.reikiseichem.org

“I believe my holistic massage and bodywork and work in the charitable sector complement each other beautifully, with both sectors dedicated to the wellbeing of minds, bodies and souls.”
