Your first appointment
Don’t be surprised if our initial consultation takes around 10-15 minutes. At our first meeting I need to find out about you, your lifestyle, your medical history, and crucially the way you use your body on a daily and weekly basis. It’s important to disclose any pre-existing conditions, recent injuries or operations so your massage is appropriate. Using my knowledge of anatomy, physiology and pathology we’ll then work together to agree on a massage plan for you.
Clothing
During your massage it’s easier for me to work with access to as much of your body as you’re comfortable with. You’ll be covered with a drape at all times so only the area I’m working on is uncovered, to respect both your and my modesty and comfort.
For Indian Head Massage and Reiki Seichem you’ll remain fully clothed throughout.
Availability
I try to be as flexible as possible, with appointments available:
Monday 9.30am to 8pm; Tuesday 9.30am to 8pm; Wednesday 9.30am to 5pm; Thursday 9.30am to 5pm; Friday 9.30am to 6pm; Saturday 10am to 5pm
All appointments by advanced booking only.
Home visits
In very rare instances which necessitate a home visit, it is possible for me to come out to your home for your appointment. I respectfully request however, that if you are able to travel to my practice that you do so, so I can look after my own body. You’ll find your session will be much more rewarding if I’m able to deliver it in my own space. Please note that home visits incur a £20 surcharge.
Insurance
Data Protection and Confidentiality
All information you provide will be treated with the utmost confidence and stored securely to comply with the General Data Protection Regulations that came into force in May 2018.
Payments
Treatments are payable by cash, cheque or bank transfer. Payment must be received by or at the time the holistic therapy is given. Block bookings must be paid for in advance.
